Empowering you to be the best parent you can be!
If your pregnancy was not planned and you’re considering parenting, you may have more questions than answers about birth, baby care and parenting.
Choices is here to help you take the time to address your parenting concerns and help you find the resources you need. If you’re not sure if parenting is the right choice for you, we are happy to help you explore all your options.
Many people who want to parent may have questions and concerns about single parenting, continuing their education, financial stability and other topics.
We have the following resources & referrals available to you at no cost.
Pregnancy Testing – Choices offers the most medically accurate pregnancy testing in the area. With our trained staff, we will confirm your pregnancy on the spot.
Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound – Our highly trained medical team can provide you with a free ultrasound to determine how far along you are and if the pregnancy is viable.
Parenting Program: Earn While You Learn – Our first-time parenting program is individualized for women and men and consists of one-on-one support with your client mentor each week. The program is for the duration of the pregnancy and can continue for the first year of your child’s life. Participants earn ‘baby bucks’ to shop in our boutique for items such as diapers, wipes, clothing, car seats, cribs, and more.
Group Parenting Classes – We also have classes on breastfeeding, baby care, birthing, financial planning for new parents, health, and others depending on the time of year. Give us a call or check with your client mentor for a complete list of dates and times of each class. Single Parents: Ask your client mentor about our list of referrals for agencies and partner organizations that specifically provide support and resources for single parents.
Material Support – We provide baby items such as clothing, diapers and more to women and men who participate in our parenting programs.
Referrals – We provide referrals to doctors, adoption agencies, WIC, Medicaid and other community resources.
