Support & Education
Choices offers a safe, supportive environment so you can explore all your options and plan your future. All our services are free and confidential and are available to anyone regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin or disability.
We have the following resources & referrals available to you at no cost.
Pregnancy Options Consultation – We provide no-cost education about abortion, pregnancy, fetal development, and birth so you can make an informed decision about your pregnancy.
Abortion Education – We provide information about the abortion pill and different surgical abortion procedures and the risks they carry so you can make an informed pregnancy decision.
After Abortion Support – For those who make an abortion decision or have had one in the past, we offer confidential after-abortion counseling and support.
Adoption Information – If you are considering making an adoption plan, we can provide free information about the adoption process and referrals to adoption agencies.
Parenting Program – To pregnant women and couples who choose to parent, we offer free one-on-one education and parenting classes during pregnancy and through the first year of your child’s life.
Material Support – We provide baby items such as clothing, diapers and more to women and men who participate in our programs.
Sexual Health and Relationships – We provide a safe, confidential environment for you to talk to health professionals about your sexual health, relationships, and everything in between. Free STD/STI testing and treatment is available at a pregnancy test appointment.
Community Education – Presentations and tours are provided at Choices. Sex and relationship panels offered each semester on UTC’s campus. Speakers are available upon request.
Referrals – We provide referrals to doctors, adoption agencies, WIC, Medicaid and other community resources.
